Any individual or company may apply to join the Wealden Business Group.

Potential new members will be invited to attend two breakfast meetings.
This will provide an opportunity for them to meet other members and to become familiar with the format. They will be expected to outline their products or services and only after the second meeting will they be required to declare any interest in joining.

Subject then to the provision of satisfactory references, to the business interests of the proposed member not conflicting with those of an existing member and to the approval of the Group as a whole, the applicant will be invited to join.

A registration fee of £50.00 will be required plus the first annual membership fee of £150 before the applicant attends further meetings.

Members are expected to attend regularly.

As the continuing success of the Group depends partly upon members providing good quality business introductions, members are expected to be pro-active in providing leads for other members. However, as quality is more important than quantity, members are not expected to provide introductions every week.

Every Wednesday unless advised otherwise by the Secretary.

An attendance fee of £7 inclusive of breakfast is payable for each meeting.

All existing members will be assumed to be attending the next meeting unless
the Secretary is informed otherwise by phone, fax or email by 10.00am on
the day before. Breakfasts have to be pre-booked and failure to advise
absence in advance will incur the normal fee of £7.
